Elly’s Formal Wear Prom Fashion Show Nov. 15, 2011 @ Baldwin High School, Maui

Elly’s Formal Wear & Bridals had Our Baldwin High School Prom Fashion Show on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 was so much fun! This year, a Senior student named Shantae Shimabuku, organized the entire event with an opening of a dance club from the school. Our models were the students, who had a blast and did an amazing performance on stage; they were like professionals! They loved wearing our prom dresses and tuxedos and said they “felt great” and “want to do this all the time” They were so cute! Shantae, you did an amazing job! Music Provided by Next Level Entertainment Maui. Congratulations! Thank you to everyone who made this event possible! Mr. Yoshida, Donna Vierra, Iolani Chun, Shimabuku Ohana, and Joe Cortez & James Salmo of Next Level Entertainment. Mahalo to everyone!! It was so much fun!!

Elly’s Formal Wear Prom Fashion Show at HP Baldwin High School
Elly’s Formal Wear Prom Dresses & Tuxedos, Lahainaluna High School Junior Prom Royal Court

After months of deliberation, the princesses of Lahainaluna High School chose Elly’s Formal Wear to do their prom dresses for the 2011 Junior Prom Court. Their fabulous Prom Night was this past weekend, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Sheraton Maui Resort. The prom dress they chose was from Maggie Sottero’s Flirt Prom line, style #P1525 in Midnight Amethyst, a gorgeous deep purple. The Queen’s gown is a bridal gown design by Mon Cheri Bridals, a classic fairy tale dress. The girls looked absolutely stunning in their ball gowns, all dazzled up with their hair, makeup, and jewelry! The prince’s chose a Jean Yves tuxedo style called the Mirage, a modern mandarin collared tuxedo that we have in stock at Elly’s Formal Wear (style #19). Their vests and long striped ties matched the princesses dresses perfectly! The prince’s vests were an Amethyst color in the pattern called “Sterling” by Mel Howard. And, the king wore the White Jean Yves Mirage tuxedo and the Bali Silver vest and long striped tie in the same pattern. Their prom gowns and tuxedos fit perfectly!! Elly’s Formal Wear did all the alterations and
Terri Ewbank of Elly’s Formal Wear, met the Junior Prom court at the hotel on the day of prom to assure that everyone’s tuxedo and prom dress was to a perfect final fit. I was also allowed to get a sneak peek at the formal introduction dance and capture some photos of them before their prom started! Lucky me! They all looked so beautiful and were very excited, too!!

Maui Prom Dresses & Tuxedo Fashion Show-Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus

Elly’s Formal Wear & Bridals of Kihei, Maui, puts on an annual Maui Prom Fashion Show for Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus. This Maui Prom fashion show was held in December of 2009 for the 2010 Prom Dress and Tuxedo Rental Collections. We introduced the new Maui Prom Dresses from all our designers such as Mori Lee Prom, Lafee Prom Dresses, Precious Formals, and Alfred Angelo Prom. The Prom dress designers used a lot of vibrant colors, which we were able to match various colors and patterns for the tuxedo vests and ties. The kids had so much fun and they loved the show! Thanks to all the fabulous models and the staff of Kamehameha School, Maui. Special thanks to Mike Welch and Mrs. Naomi Ashman.
